Join Lansing-based, Non-Profit, All of the Above Hip Hop Academy at the Meijer Branch for a creative, music thumping afternoon of break dancing and beat-making basics. Participants ages 6-10 can expect 30 min of beat-making and 40 min of dance instruction led by professional artists.

About the Instructors:

Tabor Vits has taught with AOTA since 2014. He began breaking at Michigan State University in 2010 and is a member of 99stylez crew and the World Serpent collective. His dance influences include 61syx Teknique, Kybalion, Motor City Street Dance Academy, and Toronto footwork and Vegas/press styles.

Young Heat began to make a name for himself in 2008 by working with a group of well-known local artists as well as online through websites like “Soundclick.” In 2015, Heat also produced “On Fleek” by A-Game Writers, which was a song featured on the hit television series ‘EMPIRE’ (Season 2: Episode 4 - Poor Yorick), by 20th Century FOX Network.
